About Me

Alison Longley Butler, Esq.

I’m a second-generation bankruptcy attorney, continuing a practice my father, John Longley, started here in Port St. Lucie in 1978.

I was born and raised on the Treasure Coast, and this community is home. After graduating cum laude from law school and earning a Master’s of Law (LL.M.), I’ve been helping clients through bankruptcy since 2010.

I chose this area of law because I believe in second chances. Financial hardship can happen to anyone—and when it does, you deserve clear guidance and someone on your side.

Carrying on my father’s 40+ year legacy means a lot to me. It’s built on helping people find relief, move forward, and regain a sense of control. But most of all, we’ve always been about compassion and understanding.

When you work with me, you won’t be judged. You’ll be listened to, supported, and guided every step of the way.
